 Liposuction
In our practice we are working among others with the vibration system „VibraSat“, the latest technique for an even more gentle liposuction.
Liposuction can be done at neck, upper arm and forearm, abdomen, back, hips, calves, thigh and shank. It is also used for male patients in case of excessive breast enlargement (pseudo gynaecomasty).
The operation can be ambulant or in-patient treatment and is done with the so-called tumescent local anaesthetic method. Bigger units of physiological saline solution, together with local anaesthetic and other medicine needed, are infiltrated into the areas to be treated. By means of fine vibrating needles the tissue is being widened and the solubilised apidose is being extracted by suction through minimum cuts into the skin.
In exceptional cases liposuction can also be done under half-sleep or general anaesthesia.
After 3-4 days you will have no more physical discomfort so that you will be fully presentable again. After 2 weeks all kind of physical activities and sports can be practiced again.
